Sales Manager TV & VOD

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales in the Licensing Sales team of Kino Świat, your main duties will be to:

  • Negotiate sales of new releases, catalogue films, and TV series with FREE, PAY TV, and SVOD & AVOD clients.
  • Optimize the film catalogue: editorial consistency, monitoring classics, tracking film related events, and working with Catalogue Marketing teams on restoration priorities.
  • Manage the TV/VOD catalogue: assess catalogue title renewals and proactively sell deep-catalogue titles
  • Prepare title selections tailored to each client, aligned with the editorial strategy of each channel and/or platform.
  • Create commercial tracking sheets: availability dates, territories, materials,
  • Participate in the evaluation of film and TV series projects  and catalogue acquisitions: script reading, estimations, comps research.
  • Monitor budgets in collaboration with finance teams.
  • Work in close collaboration with all support departments (marketing, legal, technical, finance, etc.).
  • Meet regularly with Polish clients and participate in international TV markets (MipTV, MipCom).

 

 

Required profile:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in the distribution industry (cinema, VOD, TV) and 4 in sales
  • Ability to read the ratings
  • Advanced Excel skills to manage data analysis, forecasts, and reporting
  • Proven track record in license sales
  • Great knowledge about films and cinematography and basic copyright law is a plus
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills
  • Great organizational skill
  • Strategic thinking
  • Focus of clients' needs and goals
  • Strong knowledge of TV and OTT market trends in Poland.
  • English level B2-C1
  • Excellent organization and adaptability
  • Very good presentation skills
  • Teamwork, interpersonal communication, negotiation ability, autonomy, and strong organization skills
