The Human Resources Intern will involve assisting and supporting the HR team in their day-to-day operations at CANAL+ Myanmar. The HR intern will provide an assistance/support with recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and other HR-related activities.

This internship will provide you with valuable experience and insights into the field of Human Resources. The initial contract will be for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

Recruitment & Training

  • Assist in creating in posting job vacancies on various job portals.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
  • Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops.
  • Help track training attendance and maintain training records.

 

HR Services

  • Support the on boarding process for new employees.
  • Help maintain HR databases and update employee information as required.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, and company-wide celebrations.
  • Assist in administering employee attendance and leave management.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in different ad-hoc HR services as necessary

Qualifications 

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Burmese.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Basic understanding of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with using new technologies.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, contribute to team efforts, and grow professionally.
