The Human Resources Intern will involve assisting and supporting the HR team in their day-to-day operations at CANAL+ Myanmar. The HR intern will provide an assistance/support with recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and other HR-related activities.
This internship will provide you with valuable experience and insights into the field of Human Resources. The initial contract will be for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal.
Roles & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Training
- Assist in creating in posting job vacancies on various job portals.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
- Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops.
- Help track training attendance and maintain training records.
HR Services
- Support the on boarding process for new employees.
- Help maintain HR databases and update employee information as required.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, and company-wide celebrations.
- Assist in administering employee attendance and leave management.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in different ad-hoc HR services as necessary
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Burmese.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic understanding of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with using new technologies.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, contribute to team efforts, and grow professionally.
