Retention Manager f/m/d
Your mission is to reduce churn and maximize customer lifetime value through a proactive, data-driven retention strategy. You will own retention performance end-to-end, combining churn prevention, save optimization, customer reactivation and continuous improvement of retention processes across the entire customer lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
- Retention Strategy & Churn Prevention: Develop and execute retention strategies, leveraging churn risk scoring, customer insights and behavioral analytics to proactively reduce churn.
- Retention Lifecycle Management: Optimize retention across key customer touchpoints including onboarding, invoicing, dunning, cancellation, reactivation and winback.
- Offer Design & Price Changes: Define retention offers, customer journeys and decision logic to maximize retention. Execute price change campaigns for the existing customer base while embedding retention logic and minimizing churn impact.
- Financial & Commercial Churn Management: Analyze churn drivers, improve dunning processes and implement measures to increase financial churn recovery.
- Performance Management & Reporting: Own retention KPIs, forecasting and reporting, identify churn drivers and continuously improve retention performance.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Lead retention-related projects and collaborate closely with Customer Service, Telco and Reseller partners as well as international CANAL+ teams.
Your Profile
- You have professional experience in Retention, CRM, Customer Lifecycle Management or a comparable customer-focused role.
- You combine strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and an affinity for customer insights and reporting.
- You are curious about new technologies and open to leveraging AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve customer retention and business performance.
- You possess excellent communication and project management skills.
- You are comfortable working in a German- and English-speaking environment.
- You are proactive, structured, results-oriented and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.
