Role Overview:

 

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Publicity Coordinator to support the International Publicity team and also assist in enhancing our publicity led digital content strategy and engagement across owned channels. The Publicity Coordinator will support the international publicity team with their day to day tasks as well as the creation and curation of talent and influencer led social activity across our film slate.  This role requires a passion for both the entertainment industry and social media trends.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • General team administrative support including updating contact lists, logging announcements and updating the Publicity diary.
  • Providing logistical support in the run up to events/junkets
  • Managing travel bookings in the run up to events/tours/junkets
  • Assisting with schedule updates in the run up to events/tours/junkets
  • Assisting with budget management in the run up to events/tours/junkets
  • Assisting in selecting press materials for each title
  • Read and feedback on new scripts 
  • Social Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy from a publicity perspective in partnership with our Creative Marketing and Digital Teams. Support the creation of visually appealing and engaging posts through ensuring we gather the right content during production and beyond.
  • Platform Engagement: Monitor trends and look for new opportunities on platforms from a publicity perspective. Assist in fostering strong relationships with social media platforms and online partners such as Meta, TikTok, Letterboxd alongside the digital team.  
  • Events: Work closely with the Marketing and Publicity teams to promote events and company milestones (red carpets, film festival launches, home entertainment releases and Library). Assist in creating content that highlights event details and coordinate closely across digital, creative and marketing teams to create buzz.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in publicity and events within the entertainment industry
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for film & TV
