CANAL+ Group develops its pay television activities internationally via its subsidiary CANAL+ International, which had 16 million subscribers at the end of 2022 in more than 50 countries in Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean. In addition, it produces more than 100 channels specifically for the international market.  

CANAL+ brings together content offers adapted to each region via different broadcasting methods (primarily via satellite) and has progressively become a global digital platform accessible to all subscribers. As a historical operator and leader for more than 30 years in Africa and French overseas territories, and more recently located in Europe and Asia, CANAL+ has made creative diversity its greatest asset by promoting global creativity and developing the audiovisual industry and local talent. 


CANAL+ Group operates in Asia-Pacific with 1.2 million subscribers. It is present in Vietnam with K+, a package of local and international channels, co-owned with Vietnamese public television. Since 2018, CANAL+ has also been operating in Myanmar, in partnership with the Forever group, a major television player in the country. The Group is accelerating its development in Asia via strategic distribution partnerships with telecom operators, cable and IPTV networks, as well as Smart TV manufacturers. In June 2023, CANAL+ and PCCW cemented a strategic partnership to develop Viu, the leading streaming service in Asia and the Middle East. 


Within the CANAL+INTERNATIONAL Marketing team, and reporting to the Marketing Director, you will support the development and evolutions of CANAL+ offers to meet and anticipate the needs of the prepaid markets, in the Asian territories where CANAL+INTERNATIONAL operates (Vietnam and Myanmar). You will also be responsible for maximizing the consumption of CANAL+'s subscriber base in these territories. You will be in daily contact with the business and support teams at CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL’s head office in Paris, as well as with the management teams of the regional subsidiaries. 



  • Coordinate competitive monitoring (in collaboration with the local teams in each subsidiary), market trend monitoring, market research and benchmarks on the Asian pay-tv and video-on-demand market. 

  • Identify and study opportunities to develop the offer, launch new channels (working with the content & channels teams) or new services (video-on-demand services, etc.) in Asia (studies, modeling/business plan, pricing). 

  • Manage offer launch/evolution projects in collaboration with other teams from the head office (Sales, Communication, Content & Channels, Finance, Performance Management, Technical, IT, Customer care, Product & digital, etc.) and subsidiaries. Examples of projects: overhaul of offer structure and brand positioning, price evolution, integration of third-party services, addition of free modules, etc. 

  • Once projects are launched, ensure follow-up, and produce quantitative and qualitative assessments and analyses. 

  • In charge with the different local and central teams of OTT offers definition and acceleration  




  • In charge with local Customer Value Managers of reaching consumptions, growth and value targets. 

  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators (subscriber base, sales, activity rate, renewal rate, ARPU, usage, etc.). 

  • Define and implement monthly/annual roadmaps (promotions, communication campaigns, direct marketing, special operations, etc.) with Sales and Communication teams and subsidiaries.  

  • Define and coordinate consumption plans with subsidiaries. 

  • Analyze performance and business impact of actions taken. 

  • Monitor operational topics handled by subsidiaries (direct marketing, development of new payment methods, etc.) and share best practices between prepaid territories (Asia, Africa, some French overseas territories). 


You have the functional management of local Customer Value teams and also manage, with another member of the team, an intern working on Asia and Africa topics. 

  • Experience in marketing or product management in a business based on subscriptions.  

  • Rigor, organizational skills, and experience in project management. 

  • Strong analytical skills  

  • Open-mindedness, curiosity, and interest in international and media markets 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and cross-functionally, ability to find solutions. 

  • Proactive & dynamic, able to think "out of the box", able to work independently. 

  • Knowledge of the Pay TV, OTT, pureplayer or telecoms industry is required  

  • Asian experience is a bonus   

  • Proficiency in French and English is required
