🔎 Marketing Direction International ? We are the headquarters team responsible for supporting all geographies internationally to build attractive and competitive offers in each of our markets with local and international channels and content, as well as exclusive partnerships (Netflix, Disney+, AppleTV+, Paramount+…). The Marketing Department is also in charge of Base marketing and Customer Value Management.

🎯 Missions ?

 

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will support the development and evolutions of CANAL+, K+ and M7 offers to meet and anticipate the needs of in the Asian and European territories where CANAL+INTERNATIONAL operates. You will also be responsible for maximizing the consumption of CANAL+'s subscriber base in these territories along with local Customer Value Managers. You will be in daily contact with the business and support teams at CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL’s head office in Paris, as well as with the management teams of the regional subsidiaries.

 

About our operations in Asia

CANAL+ Group is present in Vietnam with K+, a package of local and international channels, co-owned with Vietnamese public television. Since 2018, CANAL+ has also been operating in Myanmar, in partnership with the Forever group, a major television player in the country. In June 2023, CANAL+ and PCCW cemented a strategic partnership to develop Viu, the leading streaming service in Asia and the Middle East.

 

About our operations in Europe

CANAL+ Group is present in Poland with the CANAL+ offer, and in M7 countries (Austria, Belgium, Netherland, Switzerland, Czeck Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia).

 

1/ OFFER STRATEGIES 

  • Produce competitive monitoring (in collaboration with the local teams in each subsidiary), market trend monitoring, market research and benchmarks on the pay-tv and video-on-demand market
  • Along with local teams, define the strategy for offers in each territory and identify opportunities for development, particularly in connection with the Executive Committees and the Studies department.
  • Define the business value (initial studies, market sizing…), construct the associated Business Plans, and formalize strategic recommendations to support the decision-making process of internal decision-makers.
    • Manage offer launch/evolution projects in collaboration with other teams from the head office (Sales, Communication, Content & Channels, Finance, Performance Management, Technical, IT, Customer care, Product & digital, etc.) and subsidiaries. Examples of projects: overhaul of offer structure and brand positioning, price evolution, integration of third-party services, addition of free modules, etc.
    • Once projects are launched, ensure follow-up, and produce quantitative and qualitative assessments and analyses.
    • Key contributor on Market sizing and offer strategy definition for both Asia and Europe for the OTT Growth Acceleration project (PIVOTT)  

 

2/ CUSTOMER VALUE MANAGEMENT 

  • Regularly monitor and analyze performance indicators (subscriber base, sales, activity rate, renewal rate, ARPU, usage, etc.) based on BI tools and local reporting
  • Contribute to define and implement monthly/annual roadmaps (promotions, communication campaigns, direct marketing, special operations, etc.) with Sales and Communication teams and subsidiaries.
  • Define and coordinate consumption, anti-churn and value actions plans with subsidiaries.
  • Analyze performance and business impact of actions taken.
  • Monitor operational topics handled by subsidiaries to identify and share best practices with other territories of the group
  • As regional expert, contribute to the development and deployment of transversal projects and tools (CRM, Market Automation tools, CDP etc..)
  • Key contributor on customer path and customer retention strategy definition for both Asia and Europe for the OTT Growth Acceleration project (PIVOTT)

 

🏆 Profile

  • Daily contacts with subsidiaries require a fluent English-speaking and -writing ability.
  • Experience in marketing or product/project management in a business based on subscriptions (Tech, Media or Telecom industry is a plus)
  • Rigor, organizational skills, and experience in project management.
  • Analytical skills
  • Open-mindedness, curiosity, and interest in international and media markets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and cross-functionally, ability to find solutions.
  • Proactive & dynamic, able to think "out of the box", able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the Pay TV or telecoms industry is a bonus.
  • The job requires regular trips in Europe and Asia
